Billie Butler, Opinion Editor
Billie Butler is a senior at Newport Harbor High School and the Opinion Editor at the Beacon. She is also the drum major for the marching band, as well as playing the flute, saxophone and marimba in the concert band and jazz band. Outside of music, she is a member of Link Crew and a volunteer for Priceless Pets; her hobbies include baking, reading and writing. After high school, she hopes to attend a four-year university and major in English before moving on to law school. When she was younger, Billie lived for several years in Berlin, Germany, where her mother is from.
