Hard work, consistent energy, passion, and courage. These are qualities that both the Alabama Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs needed to carry with them out onto the field in order to play in the College Football Championship Game. Each one of these teams is built entirely of student-athletes and as busy young adults, they are always under pressure when it comes to game day. Although not every member of the team gets to play each game, the players on Alabama and Georgia are more than just teammates. For them, being on the team in itself is an honor. These young men have built relationships around trust, helping them to reach the top.

The championship game is one that every athlete dreams of playing in and hopefully taking home the trophy as well. Reaching this level of play is difficult because not everybody is willing to work as hard as others. Both Alabama and Georgia deserved to be playing in this game due to the fact that their teams have what it takes to get to the top- skill, character, work ethic, and consistency. As ecstatic as the fans were when they heard their favorite team was going to the college playoff game, not everyone understands what it took for those two teams to reach that advanced level of play. Hours, days, and years went into training for one special moment. Georgia lost as an end result to Alabama in overtime by three points. However, in this type of situation, it’s not the end result that truly matters, but more the process and what it took to get there.
